BETHAN HOLT- JUNIOR FASHION EDITOR AT LARGE

I'm Bethan, the Junior Fashion Editor at Large. It all began with a tweet to Melanie, and now I'm cutting my fashion journalist teeth with one of the best. I love a great outfit as much as the next clothes obsessed girl, right now that would be a shiny Raf Simons for Dior skirt.  My big interest is writing about why we wear what we do, where designers and tastemakers get their ideas and how that all eventually becomes something you can buy on the high street. As well as writing on Fashion Editor at Large, I have done trend talks at London Fashion Weekend and written bits and bobs for freelance projects, including The LFW Daily paper forays into menswear for AskMen. You can find me on Twitter @BethanHolt

  1. Hey Melanie,

Hope you can help I have a problem.

Oh god I’m 39, 40 in February thankfully people think I look younger, sadly they also think I’m a man L

I’m 182cm I weight 69kg and I’m roughly a in between a 10 and 12. Loads of women go on about being thin but it’s not fun being this tall and this size, it’s not like I don’t eat or anything it just doesn’t collect anywhere.

I’ve not worn a dress since school, I live in converse and winkle pickers, skinny trousers. Basically calling a spade a spade I do the dykie andro thing mainly because I’m gay and androgynous and I’m stuck in a rut.

There has to be a better way for me to explore my style but I don’t know where to start. I’m sure you have a head full of advice, would you mind sharing please

    Hope the birth goes smoothly

    Peace and love

    Eden
